Our Creative Genius for June-July--Cor_Leonis
We would also like to present the Crones Genius award to one of the most creative minds in our midst. Cor_Leonis. Cor is the standard author for characters such as Regulus Black, who had very little life before she wrote him, she gave us insight into Barty Crouch Junior, and holds a power over Severus Snape's demeanor that could make anyone reconsider their feelings for him. She is a founding member of the site, and has given so much of herself including reviews and support to her fellow members that this place would not be the same without her.
As you stop in to congratulate Cor on her genius status, be sure to ask her what you will about her writing habits, goals, dreams and origins. This site would not be what it is without Cor!

    to the Mistress of the One-Shot.Speaking of which: What makes you so good at these? From the first time I read one of your pieces I was astonished at how tight and concise you are while conveying such depth of emotion. How do you do it? *is jealous* Is there any fanfic character that you'd like to tackle but haven't yet? Why Snape/Lily? What is it about this pairing that draws you?

Congratulations, Cor! I've sung your praises for a long time, now. I am guilty of badgering you into using my "beta" services, but honestly, you never needed me. I just wanted to not have to wait or miss any of your updates.
You are the author who made me not hate Snape as insistently as I used to, and to think that perhaps there is merit to a Snape/Lily romance, even if it might be one-sided. Also, your Draco-among-Muggles story is brilliant and has had me hooked since the first chapter. You really deserve to be Genius of the Month.

You really are the BEST, Cor. I love your Snape/Lily and I've been meaning to move further into the Draco amongst us story, too. I love the way you write, love the fact that your short stories are so satisfying and I'm jealous of your lovely singing voice! You're nearly perfect, I think. My question to you is: When will you start writing short stories for publication? You've got all the makings of a best selling author. Did I make you blush?  Also, what are some of your writing habits. How do you start, keep writing and then finish your stories?

OH, gosh, guys. Thank you so much. I'm so sorry I'm late into this, but I had a computer crash (and recently bought a new one) and have been extremely busy with school.
You've all made me blush with your praise, and I promise that I'll answer all questions (and update my stories) as soon as I have a spare moment.

I just wanted to say Congratulations and you deserve it. You have written more than a few fics that are on my favorites list. You really make Snape and the other Slytherins come to life as real characters. So thanks for sharing your talent and your stories with us.
